Dean Hughes, BTF’s coach of the year 2007, has 16 years' experience working within the health & fitness industry. He has worked with organisations such as David Lloyd Leisure as a personal trainer, the British Army as a physical training instructor and with the British Triathlon Federation as a coach. Dean is a member of exercise professionals as a level 3 advanced instructor and has also gained a diploma in fitness training & sports therapy. He is a level II triathlon coach, level III study is ongoing. Over the years he has competed in numerous triathlons, duathlons, adventure races and marathons. Dean’s PB for a half marathon is 1hr 16min & 2hrs 48min for the marathon. Dean's favourite race is the Two Oceans Ultra marathon in Cape Town. 2007’s key events were London Marathon and IMUK Sherborne, both of which he succeeded in. |

David Ohren, originally from Birmingham, he represented his district in football at schoolboy level and continued playing throughout his 20s, before breaking his wrist meant having a break from sport. 7 years ago he started getting more active by swimming and cycling, completing the BT Swimathon (5km) in 1hr 55 min and various long distance bike rides raising money for charities and losing 6 stone in weight as he went. Dave started his triathlon career in 2005 at East Leake and was hooked, later that year he completed his first open-water triathlon at Nottingham. In 2006 he completed a half-ironman (Vitruvian) and in 2007 r he completed the full Ironman at Sherborne. Early in 2007 Dave passed the level 1 triathlon coaching course at Loughborough University and passed the practical section of level II in November 2007. |

Jennifer Manning, represented her school at netball and has always been a cycling and swimming enthusiast. She has completed the BT Swimathon (5km) and the Nottingham to Newark (Great Nottinghamshire, 50 miles) Bike Ride 10 consecutive years. Fluent in three languages and holder of a degree in Modern Laguages, Jenni achieved her 1st Dan (black belt) in 1997 after 4 years concentrated hard work. ASA level 2 qualified, Jenni teaches at South Nottingham’s leisure centres as a swimming teacher. Jenni completed her first triathlon at Southwell in 2006 and followed this with a duathlon at Sutton Bonnington. 2007 saw Jenni complete the Robin Hood half-marathon along with several aquathlons, triathlons, duathlons and long distance cycling events.. |

Richard Moyle has a degree in Sports Science and IT and is also qualified as a Chek Nutrition & Lifestyle Consultant (Level 1). He is an Advanced Level 3 member of the Exercise Professionals and has worked in the Health & Fitness Industry for the last 8 years. Richard part owner of 4Life Events, a leading multi-sport events company, specialising in sporting events for 'All the family'. He also works as a consultant, organising events on behalf of David Lloyd and other leading leisure companies. Richard originated from a swimming background, representing his county in the pool and competing nationally in open water. In cycling he won district and county titles in various disciplines including: cyclo-cross, hill climbing, velodrome racing and even 'roller racing'. He did his first Triathlon aged 7 and raced competitively as a youth and junior, placing 2nd in both the national championships and national series as a youth and junior. Richard took time away from triathlon whilst at university and then returned in 2005 to do 1/2 Ironman (4hrs 42mins). 2007 saw Richard racing in his 1st Ironman (UK) in August. |
